Power Mondays

We kick off the week with intention. Power Mondays are our morning mindset sessions designed to energize, refocus, and align. Whether it’s a guided meditation, a motivational speaker, or a group visioning exercise, it’s all about setting the tone for the week ahead. Members leave these sessions not only inspired but often with new collaborations and ideas sparked before 10 a.m.

Old School Karaoke Thursdays

Yes, we work hard but we believe in unwinding just as hard. Every Thursday night, the space transforms into a nostalgic vibe haven. Old School Karaoke Thursdays bring out the classics from Anita Baker to Biggie Smalls and the community shows up and shows out. It’s part stress relief, part soul revival, and 100% good energy.

Gospel Speaks

Held monthly, Gospel Speaks is a spiritually enriching open mic experience that blends spoken word, soul music, and storytelling grounded in faith and healing. It’s a safe space to express, reflect, and celebrate Black spiritual traditions in creative form. You don't need to be religious to feel the spirit in the room just open to being moved.

Carolina Black Film Collective Meetup

As proud hosts of the Carolina Black Film Collective’s monthly gatherings, our coworking space becomes a creative incubator for filmmakers, screenwriters, and producers of color across the Carolinas. These sessions are filled with script reads, industry talks, and resource sharing empowering storytellers to bring their visions to life while building a strong, collaborative network.

Film Fridays

We close the week with community and cinema. Film Fridays are curated screenings that showcase independent Black films both local and international followed by real conversations with filmmakers or thought leaders. It’s an opportunity to unwind while exploring stories that challenge, inspire, and reflect the richness of our culture.
