The Digital Seniors Program for Adults 55 and older is a unique initiative aimed at empowering older adults to engage with the digital world confidently and effectively. This program offers hands-on training in essential technology skills, helping participants navigate the online environment, communicate more easily with family and friends, and access information and services in today’s digital economy.
This program offers comprehensive career development services, advanced digital literacy training, and vocational skill-building to help participants secure meaningful employment, advance in their current careers, or pursue entrepreneurship. Power Up USA is committed to closing the skills gap and providing a pathway to economic mobility for all individuals.
The Youth STEAM Program is designed to inspire and educate young people, ages 8 to 18, by engaging them in hands-on learning experiences across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). This comprehensive program combines creative problem-solving with innovative technologies to help students develop critical thinking, teamwork, and technical skills.
The AI/Gaming Lab at is a collaborative playground for developers, designers, and digital storytellers who are pushing the boundaries of interactive technology. Whether you're building the next addictive indie game or exploring how AI can transform user experiences, this lab gives you the tools, community, and inspiration to make it happen.
The Charlotte Black Film Festival is a dynamic celebration of independent Black cinema, culture, and creativity. The CBFF showcases powerful films from across the globe, alongside industry panels, pitch sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities for fellow creators.
The Carolina Black Film Collective is a creative network of Black filmmakers and storytellers across the Carolinas. Founded through the Charlotte Black Film Festival, the collective supports emerging and established artists through workshops, screenings, and community events.
The Youth Filmmaking Program introduces students ages 12–18 to the world of digital storytelling. Through hands-on training in camera work, editing, and production, youth build creative skills and technical confidence preparing them for future opportunities in film and media.
Gospel Speaks is a powerful open mic experience where creativity becomes ministry. This event invites spoken word artists, singers, rappers, and storytellers to take the stage and share their truth through a Gospel centered lens. Each performance is an offering raw, real, and rooted in faith.
The Queen City Arts Fest
